A Superior Family Farm and Ranch Program
What makes DeBoer’s Free Run Farm products stand apart from the next? The difference is found in the feed, raising environment and processing technique. Our poultry and livestock are able to move around freely inside or outside and our farmers ensure they are protected from the harsh elements. Each farm ensures and maintains the environment is dry and clean, with ample water and feed vegetable based grains and minerals. All of our Free Run Farm products are air chilled (not water) to ensures greater food safety and superior natural flavour.
Free Run Farm Program Elements
Housing
Our birds are housed indoors in Free Run Farm systems and cattle are outdoors with shelter from the elements Our farms provide abundant amount of appropriate space for our Free Run Farm raising program. Our farms are constantly monitored for ventilation and temperature, and protection from predators. DeBoer’s partner farms premises and equipment need to be maintained and cleaned to eliminate any refuge for rodents, wild birds, and other animals that could introduce diseases to the flock and heard on each site maintains the environment is dry and clean.
Vegetable Based Grains and Mineral Feed
DeBoer’s Free Run Farm program feed ensures chickens, turkeys and cattle are provided with nutritionally balanced diets; nutrient composition, quantity, and availability of feed that is contaminant-free are all important components of the Free Run Farm management system.
Provisions
Our Farmers and ranchers constantly monitor water consumption that will contribute to overall chicken, turkey and beef health and well-being. We work with our feed qualified advisor partnership and nutritionist to assist and advise. We record feed and water intake is an important practice, since increases or decreases in consumption can be an early indicator of problems.
Secondary Process is 3rd Party Audited
Our facility again is 3rd party audited for segregation and safe food systems to ensure effective traceability and integrity of finished products.

You have a choice because we supply different programs for each client’s needs. We offer 100% air-chilled or water chilled Free Run Farm options.
